Pope Francis now in Malacanang
MANILA — Pope Francis has arrived at Malacanang Palace.
He was welcomed by President Benigno Simeon Aquino III and his cabinet officials.
On his way to the Palace, several kids walked up to him–some were even brought to him–to be blessed.

Prior to his arrival, it was reported that the Pontiff prefers to be called “Lolo Kiko”–the Filipino version of his name–by the faithfuls.
He is now at the Malacanang Music Room for the courtesy visit to President Aquino.
He is expected to stay until 10:45 PM, before he departs for his Manila Cathedral event.
