STA. ROSA, Laguna – Cebu City Chooks ruled the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 Quest 2.0 after beating Manila Chooks in the final, 20-18, on Sunday night at the Ayala Malls Solenad Activity Center here.

Mac Tallo finished with nine points, Mike Harry Nzeusseu added seven, Brandon Ramirez contributed three, and Marcus Hammonds had one for Cebu City, which did not just win the PHP100,000 top prize but also won a place in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Hong Kong Masters.

Cebu Chooks sizzled early on before holding off Manila in the end to complete a 5-0 sweep of the entire one-day tournament.

Dennis Santos had 10 points, Henry Iloka added four, Dave Ando had three, and Leon Lorenzana chipped in one for Manila, which settled for the PHP30,000 runner-up prize.

Butuan put up a fight before falling to Manila, 15-21, in one semifinal, while Cebu earned its own place in the championship game with a more dominant 21-6 win against fellow Cebuano side Talisay EGS.
