MANILA – Some areas in the country will continue to experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the weather bureau said Friday.
Mindanao, Eastern Visayas and Palawan may possibly experience flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
“Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have a fair, warm, and humid weather until noon,” said PAGASA forecaster Daniel James Villamil.
He added that rains lasting for 30 minutes to two hours are likely in the evening.
No weather disturbance that could affect the country was seen, according to Villamil.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas.
