Inigo admits he’s the reason why dad is single

MANILA – Inigo Pascual confirmed that he is maximizing his time with his father, Piolo Pascual, that’s why the later remains single.

During his interview at “The Buzz,” Inigo did not answer directly but said that he wants to as much as possible spend time with his dad.

“I didn’t really get to spend much time with him growing up and I want to be able to maximize our time together. Whenever I see him with someone, I feel jealous and I think it’s normal as a son,” he said.

When asked what he feels about his dad dating a younger girl, Inigo said: “I’m 17 and if he gets a girlfriend who is 20, I’m not going to feel comfortable. I wouldn’t want a stepmom who’s only 20 years old.”

In earlier interviews, Inigo admitted that he prefers for his dad to date someone outside of showbiz.

“I want him to be happy with someone not from showbiz,” he said.

“Someone who will help him lead a private life [because] he deserves that.”
