MANILA, Philippines – French-Filipino actress and television host Solenn Heussaff is now engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Argentinian businessman and model Nico Bolzico.

The wedding proposal took place last Wenesday night.

Heussaff and Bolzico were with their closest friends, including Anne Curtis, Carla Humphries, Isabelle Daza, and Liz Uy among others.

There are no words yet from the newly-engaged couple but their friends have already revealed the big news on Instagram.

Adrien Semblat, one of the couple’s friends and actress Isabelle Daza’s boyfriend, posted a photo of the couple with the caption “engaged.”

Isabelle Daza has also shared a photo with the caption “celebrating love tonight.”

Heussaff and Bolzico have been together for three years now, in a live-in arrangement. According to Heussaff, it was in this set up that they were able to rediscover each other.

“Nakikita ko ‘yung totoong tao, kasi kahit nagkarelasyon ka for halimbawa seven years at never kayo nag-live in, kapag nag-live in na kayo, you’ll notice na mayroong maliliit na bagay na ayaw mo sa partner mo,” Heussaff earlier said.

(I see the real person because even if you’re in a relationship, for example, being together for seven years and you never lived-in, when you finally live-in, you’ll notice that there are small things you wouldn’t like in your partner.)

“Baka maiinis ka, baka ‘di na matuloy ‘yung relationship. Para sa akin, bago talaga magpakasal kailangan talagang mag-live in for at least a year and a half or two. I believe firmly in living in,” she added.

(You might get frustrated. The relationship might not work. For me, before marriage, there is a need to live-in for at least a year and a half or two. I believe firmly in living in.)

Heussaff has also earlier described her boyfriend as nice and funny. She said that she considered he would likely be the one.

“We’re old history… He (Bolzico) gets along with my friends and family.

He’s driven. He gives me space, so I can grow as a person.

It’s important for couples to lead separate lives outside the relationship,” Heusaff said.

When asked if Heussaff wanted her boyfriend to enter the television industry, she wasn’t approved of the idea.

“I’d rather he didn’t become part of showbiz, to respect his privacy and his job,” she pointed out.
