Filipinos in Canada celebrates heritage month and Philippine Independence Day

The warm hospitality and smile of Filipinos in Canada was experienced when it held its annual Filipino Heritage Month and Philippine Independence Day festivities sponsored by Filipino-Canadian of Lethbridge Alberta last June 18, 2022 which was held at Galt Garden.

The Philippine National Heritage Month activities promote the protection and preservation of Philippine cultural and historical heritage which was colorfully celebrated by Filipinos in Canada.

The Filipino-Canadians of Lethbridge Alberta (FCALA) led by its President, Rufa Doria shared to Filipino and Canadian audiences the best of the Filipinos could offer through the rendition of cultural folk dance, sumptuous Filipino cuisines, local Filipino products and sharing of information about the Philippines.
