MANILA – Though the Office of the Ombudsman is already doing its own investigation, the senate Blue Ribbon subcommittee said that it will continue its probe on Vice President Jejomar Binay.

“The focus has now shifted to other anomalies committed by former and current City Hall officials of Makati, hence, the need to continue with the investigation,” Trillanes said in a statement on Friday, November 7.

He also said that the committee is supporting the investigation being conducted by the Ombudsman and will in no way be delaying the cases.

“The ongoing Senate investigation is not, in any way, delaying the cases filed with the Ombudsman.
