KC yearns for ailing grandmother

MANILA – Actress KC Concepcion on Monday broke into tears as she expressed her longing for grandmother Elaine Cuneta, who has been at a hospital for almost two months already.

During her interview on “Kris TV,” Concepcion shared that her grandmother is currently in Reverse Isolation to protect her from acquiring infections.

“That’s why we are not allowed to visit (yet),” said Concepcion. “(But) she knows that we really love her and that we are always here for her.”

She wishes for her grandmother to get well in time for Christmas and for her 80th birthday on December 31.

“She loves life, I’m sure she can’t wait to finally get out of the hospital.

I’m sure she’s also thinking of what to cook for Christmas,” she shared.

The daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion also expressed her gratitude to the doctors and nurses who are taking care of her grandmother who had an operation to address her stomach ulcer last September.
