MANILA, Philippines – Judy Ann Santos has not encountered any problem working with Solenn Heussaff, Sid Lucero and Tom Rodriguez in their upcoming film T’yanak.

The actress said that she liked her co-stars’ company. She even joked that she had a hard time keeping up with their fluent English conversations but laughingly said that she was able to survive them anyway.

Judy Ann was particularly drawn to Solenn’s carefree attitude.

“’What really amazes me about Solenn, yung tipo ng babae ni Solenn. Akala mo… susyalin, kasi nga ‘it’ girl. Pagdating sa mga eksena, walang pakialam! (What really amazes me about Solenn is the kind of woman she is. You’ll think that she’s a primadona because she’s an ‘it’ girl. But when she acts in scenes, she couldn’t care less!),” she said.

Solenn also showed professionalism as she did not excuse herself from scenes that required her to roll in mud.

“I would do that, kung halimbawa ipapagawa mo yun sa akin, gagawin ko rin yun. Nakita ko kung gaano ka-cowboy si Solenn sa paraang kung gaano ako ka-cowboy sa trabaho ko (I would do that. If for example you’d make me do it, I’ll also do it. I saw Solenn as ‘cowboy’ like how I’m ‘cowboy’ in my work),” Judy Ann said.

Judy Ann also did not expect that she brought more things in the set compared to Solenn.

“Sabagay, kakapurit lang naman yung katawan niya, kumpara mo naman sa katawan ko (After all, her body’s slim compared to my body),” she said.

Judy Ann said that she would like to do more movies with her T’yanak co-stars.

T’yanak, co-directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes, is a remake of the 1988 classic film about a childless woman who took care of a neglected baby that turned out to be a demon in disguise.
