Ticket sold in Samar wins P49.5-M Ultra Lotto jackpot
MANILA – Another lone bettor, this time from Samar province, bagged the PHP49.5-million jackpot prize in Tuesday night’s Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said Wednesday.
In an advisory, PCSO general manager Royina Garma said the bettor guessed the winning combination 05-38-09-20-24-17.
The ticket was purchased in Calbayog City, Samar.
To claim the check, the bettor must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
Meanwhile, 12 bettors won second prize and will each receive PHP120,000 for correctly guessing five numbers out of the six-digit winning combination, while 665 bettors won third prize with PHP2,000 each and 11,412 bettors won the fourth prize with PHP100 each.
The 6/58 lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.
This is the fourth time this month where a lone bettor bagged the Lotto jackpot.
During the draw on June 19, a lone bettor from Nueva Ecija won the PHP15.4-million regular Lotto 6/42 jackpot prize.
A lone bettor from Baguio City bagged the PHP29.7-million jackpot on June 7 in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw while on June 5, a bettor from Rizal province bagged the PHP10-million jackpot prize draw of the Regular Lotto 6/42.
Garma urged the public to keep on patronizing the PCSO games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
