Yes, I will marry you!: Ara Mina announces she’s engaged to Dave Almarinez
In what seemed to be a balcony surrounded with flowers and a sign that read “Will You Marry Me?” in the background, actress Ara Mina said yes as her answer to her boyfriend Dave Almarinez’s wedding proposal.
Their engagement was revealed by Ara as she posted photos of the proposal on Instagram on Wednesday, January 13, thanking Dave for being her “answered prayer.”
“Today I have received the most perfect gift from God. A prayer I have always been sincerely trusting Him to bring into my life,” the actress wrote.
“Thank you for not giving up on me. You are the reason why we have stronger days together. God led us to each other for a greater purpose. Let us both live it with faith and love. Yes, I will marry you!” she continued.
She also expressed her gratitude to those who are part of the occasion, including her loved ones for their engagement wishes and warm congratulations.
Learning about the good news, some netizens took to the comment section of her Instagram post to send their congratulatory messages to the couple.
Nice Print Photo, which captured the unforgettable event for the couple, also shared some photos of Ara and Dave during the proposal on their social media accounts. The event was held in Laguna.
“And it’s official! @therealaramina is now engaged! Congratulations Dave and Ara! Sooooo happy to be part of this beautiful moment,” it said.
Prior to the engagement, the actress earlier revealed in a “Magandang Buhay” interview that she is dating a non-showbiz person working in the “trading business.” Dave is the president and CEO of the Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC), holding the rank of undersecretary.
In the same interview, Ara said her partner already met her family members, including her daughter, Amanda, with former boyfriend Patrick Meneses.
