Dennis Trillo wants to star with Anne; do Star Cinema role
MANILA – At the press conference for his upcoming movie “The Janitor,” GMA-7 Kapuso talent Dennis Trillo said that he would like to do a movie for Star Cinema, as well as appear in a role with an actress from the rival network’s roster of talents.
“Open po at matagal ko na din po gusto mangyari ‘yun. Sa ngayon po, may mga problema pa po ako sa kontrata sa mother studio ko. Pero ngayong ni-release po ng Star Cinema ‘yung pelikula namin, parang ganun na din po ‘yung feeling, ganun na din ako kasaya,” he said.
When asked by the media which ABS-CBN Kapamilya actresses he wants to work with, Trillo readily replied: “Anne Curtis.”
Trillo, who is under contract with Regal Films until the end of 2014, said that although he is open to doing films with other companies, proper avenues of communication need to be taken to obtain permission.
“Kung sakaling gagawa pa ng project outside Regal, kailangan lang magpaalam nang maayos,” he said. “Under contract pa ako sa Regal. Magtatapos siya ngayong December,” he said.
Quizzed about what he plans to do upon the expiration of his Regal contract, Dennis explained: “Pag-uusapan namin. Pero hindi ko naman itinatanggi na dati ko pa gustong magkaroon ng project, hindi lang sa Star Cinema, pero iba’t ibang film outfits. Mas maraming pelikula, mas masaya ‘di ba.”
Dennis current movie “The Janitor”, slated to open on October 8, will be distributed by the film arm of ABS-CBN. The film was originally an entry to the Cinemalaya film festival.
On an interview on Sunday’s episode of “The Buzz” Trillo talked more about the film, its subject matter, and the role he plays.
“Yung ‘Janitor’ is about blind obedience talaga eh. Ako dito ex-police na nagkaroon ng konting anomalya, natanggal sa service and then nangyari yung bank robbery tapos lumabas yung mga pangalan ng suspects na involved doon. Ako, since out of service ako, ako yung hiningan ng tulong para huntingin isa isa yung mga nandoon,” he said.
“The Janitor” also stars Richard Gomez, Raymond Bagatsing, Irma Adlawan, LJ Reyes and many more.
