Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino got the sweetest ‘yes’ this year from volleyball star Melissa Gohing!
On Friday, November 20, he announced his engagement with Melissa, sharing photos of them surrounded by flowers and fairy lights.
“And she said yes. I love you Forever @gohingmelissa,” Rocco wrote in the caption tagging Melissa’s Instagram account.

In another post on Saturday, November 21, the actor shared close-up photos of them, with Melissa showing the engagement ring, and a group photo with his family.
“When I remembered I had my phone in my pocket during this memorable moment!” he said.
“Post luhod (kneel down) selfie with @gohingmelissa! and a pre proposal selfie with the family at the house!!” he added.

The volleyball player, meanwhile, also posted some moments of Rocco’s proposal to her, including a photo of them seemingly wiping their tears.
“The easiest ‘Yes’ I’ve ever said in my life!” she said. Melissa shared that it was her mom who taught her that “love is a choice” and that the other half she will be choosing should be someone who “I can get through the highest of highs and lowest of lows.”
“To my future husband, I will still choose you over and over again even in the darkest of times because you showed me the stars. I love you Enrico Raphael Quiogue Nacino forever,” Melissa said.
“It still feels surreal when I woke up. It was a dream come true!” she continued.

The couple’s posts were then flooded with congratulatory messages from other celebrities and netizens who were elated after learning the news.
The actor, who stars in the Philippine adaptation of “Descendants of the Sun,” and Melissa marked their third anniversary as a couple in September.
