Persons 15 to 65 years old now allowed to go out: IATF
MANILA – Persons aged 15 to 65 years old are now allowed to go out of their homes during community quarantine as part of the government’s efforts to revive the economy amid the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque made the announcement on Friday after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) approved the adjustment of age-based stay-at-home restrictions.
Roque noted that local government units (LGUs) may impose a higher age limit for minors depending on the Covid-19 situation in their respective jurisdictions.
Under the previous policy of the IATF-EID, those aged below 21 years old and above 60 years old were required to stay at home, except for those reporting for work or are buying basic necessities.
