Korean Air cancels Incheon-Manila flights for 18 days in October

MANILA — South Korea’s flag carrier, Korean Air (KE), will not be operating an Incheon-Manila flight for 18 days in October due to the latter’s quarantine capacity constraints.

In an advisory posted on its Facebook page on Friday, the carrier said flight KE623 will not be operational on Oct. 1-2, 5, 7-9, 12, 14-16, 19, 21-23, 26, 28-30.

The Manila bound flight will only be mounted on Oct. 3-4, 6, 10-11, 13, 17-18, 20, 24-25, 27, and Oct.

Affected passengers may rebook their tickets with the rebooking fee waived, or reroute within the ticket validity. They may also opt to refund their tickets, with a refund penalty waived.

The Manila International Airport Authority has been allowing 3,000 passengers of inbound international flights daily at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

As for the outbound flight, the carrier said flight KE624 Manila-Incheon would operate daily from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31.

Meanwhile, KE earlier announced the mounting of special flights from Incheon to Cebu.
