Stay home everyone and stay safe. 🙏🏼

Wanting to update his “concerned” followers, Michael V shared some developments in his self-isolation after he tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Viewers are used to his wacky expressions and smiles but the comedian’s latest photo update conceals a large portion of his face with a face mask and a face shield. His hand that is on Intravenous (IV) is still showing a peace sign.

Addressing people who are “concerned” in a post on his social media accounts on Friday, July 24, Bitoy shared that he underwent X-ray yesterday to verify if he has pneumonia.

Medyo mabilis kasi akong mapagod (Because I easily feel exhausted),” he wrote.

According to him, while the doctors found a possible cause of pneumonia, he does not to be hospitalized. He was prescribed with some antibiotics and was advised to stay at home.

“Naka-self quarantine pa rin po ako para sa safety ng lahat ng nasa paligid ko (I am still on self-quarantine for the safety of the people around me),” he clarified.

Bitoy also took the opportunity to express his gratitude for those who continue to pray for him and his family’s safety in this challenging time.

(I also want to remind everyone to be careful so that we will not regret anything in the end. Let us all be responsible by trying our best to not be infected or infect others),” he added.

It was on Monday when Michael V confirmed that he tested positive for the deadly COVID-19.

Just a day after this, the fake news that he passed away due to the virus also circulated online.

In an interview by 24 Oras on Wednesday, the comedian labeled that fake news as a “bad joke” that is not helping the situation at all.

Maraming salamat sa interview na ‘to at makukumpirma na nila (All thanks to this interview, now they can confirm [what is true],” he said.

Bitoy is currently residing in his studio, which is a unit separate from where his family stays. His studio has all the things that he wants and needs such as his clothes and collections but according to the comedian, even if he is surrounded by all these, what he really needs the most right now is his family; whom he can only see through the paralleled windows.
