Fans of Nicki Minaj were thrilled with the news she announced on Monday, July 20, and they just cannot wait for it to come out.

We are not talking about her releasing a new song. It is about her finally being a mother — baby no. 1 is on the way!

The soon-to-be-mommy posted a series of photos, flaunting her growing baby bump while rocking different outfits. In one of the photos where she was seen wearing a colorful bikini and towering high heels, Nicki simply said, “#Preggers.”

Congratulatory messages from other renowned individuals in the music industry, such as Ne-Yo, Chance the Rapper, and Diplo, started pouring in on the comment section of Nicki’s post.

“Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes,” the 37-year-old rapper said in another post.

Last October 2019, Nicki announced to public her marriage to Kenneth Petty, whom she revealed she was dating in 2018, as she shared a video clip showing baseball caps that read “bride” and “groom” and matching “Mr.” and “Mrs.” mugs.

“Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19,” she wrote on the caption.

In a June interview with “Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne,” a show on Apple Music, Nicki talked about her married life with Kenneth, saying she was not expecting it to be “as refreshing and calming as it is.”

Nicki, one of the most successful rappers in today’s world, is known for her hits “Super Bass,” “Starships,” and “Anaconda,” among many others. Nicki’s collaboration with 6ix9ine, “Trollz.” reached No. 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 songs last month, her second chart-topper after Doja Cat’s “Say So (Remix).”

“Congratulations Barbz, y’all did this with no playlisting and no radio, and it’s just not happening in 2020,” Nicki said in a video message, thanking her fanbase.

“All the records on the top of the chart right now are doing that with heavy playlisting and heavy radio. So, for us to do that, debuting, that’s insane. I love you guys so much. We just did the highest pure sales of the year, of every song released, and you can’t buy that. That’s fan love,” she added.
