Nadine Lustre did not stay silent with Jobert Sucaldito’s latest claims regarding his suspended contract with the Kapamilya report.

“You’re not seeing the bigger picture, Mr. Sucaldito. It’s messed up how you are completely unashamed of what [yo]u said,” this was how Nadine opened her Instagram story in response to Jobert, who told the Congress in a session that the suspension of his contract is illegal.

“It’s never okay to push someone to commit suicide,” the actress continued. She’s referring to Jobert’s statement back in January, when he was still an anchor in DZMM’s Showbuzz, attacking Nadine for her statements against Ricky Lo.

It can be remembered that Ricky Lo wrote about Nadine’s breakup with ex-boyfriend James Reid, with which she earlier denied some parts. Because of this, many netizens started scrutinizing Nadine’s cryptic posts and captions to scavenge for clues, including one photo of her, back facing the window. The photo’s angle is taken from outside.

Jobert in Showbuzz back then, at first, slammed her for what she said but he soon turned to the said photo by saying “’Di ba iyon naman ang gusto nila? Kuno-kuno na may mga labas ng puwet, naka T-back pa doon sa building, tapos may mga nakalagay na caption na parang gustong tumalon sa building. Sana tumalon na lang kung ganun din naman pala  (Isn’t that what they want? To show off their butts, wearing a T-back in that building, with a caption saying as if they want to jump off the building? Then she should have just jumped off if that is the case).”

Currently, Congress is hearing ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal with different issues arising during the sessions such as supposed labor laws violated. Jobert appeared before Congress and questioned the network for his case, saying that the “harsh” decision was cruel and heartless of the network.

Jobert continued that he will not return anymore but he cannot accept that he was treated like that after 17 years of working for them. He also said that he does not agree with the shutdown but said that for those workers in ABS-CBN “who really throw their weights around, I hope you also learn your lesson.”

Nadine, on her Instagram stories, went on by saying that she can’t believe that Jobert is “using this issue to fight our home network whose only objective is to protect us.”

She added, “Inalis ka sa trabaho dahil mali ‘yung sinabi mo (You were removed from your job because what you said was wrong.”

On a separate story, she said that she is tired of people treating mental issues as jokes.
