When it comes to the talented pool of Original Pinoy Music (OPM), three famous names will join together and let their music harmonize for a concert.

Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha, multi-awardee and hitmaker Basil Valdez, and National Artist Ryan Cayabyab will join in one big stage for their concert, “And the Story Begins.”

Despite their renowned images in the music industry, during their press conference, Lani and Basil gave glimpses of their “errors” during their performances and how they dealt with it, as reported by ABS-CBN.

Basil shared how he preferred microphones with wires than the newer wireless ones when he sings.

Importante sa akin ‘yun kasi kapag nakakalimutan ko ang lyrics, ginaganun (iniikot) ko ‘yung wire para kunwari nawala (The wire is important for me because when I forget the lyrics, I twirl the wire as if it is not working),” he jests which draws laughter from the media.

While Lani admitted that at times, she also fails to hit the high notes, citing fatigue or performances the previous night which could affect her singing.

May nangyari, pumiyok ako. Kapag pumiyok ako, pipiyukin ko na ‘yung the rest para mukhang [nakakatawa] (One time, my voice cracked. So if that happens, I will deliberately let my voice crack on the rest of the performance so it will be funny),” she shares which also makes the others present in the event laugh.

“And the Story Begins” will be on February 28 and 29.
