Richmond, B.C. – FreshCo officially opened its doors today in Richmond, British Columbia with the celebration of two new store openings. Celebrating the local multicultural community, FreshCo’s low prices and diverse product offering will help Canadians make every dollar count.

Grand opening festivities are now underway with deals taking place at both Broadmoor FreshCo, located at 10151 No.3 Road, and Blundell FreshCo, located at 6140 Blundell Road. Managed by local store owners, Scott Marshall (Broadmoor FreshCo) and Anthony Vongsana (Blundell FreshCo), a team of more than 100 employees from each store are proud to serve these local communities in Richmond.

To commemorate the openings, FreshCo donated $5000 to the Richmond Food Bank and celebrated with ceremonial lion dances at each of its locations in Richmond.

“We’re excited to show the people of Richmond what FreshCo has to offer. Our customers will have access to fresh food items and produce, while also offering a variety of multicultural foods,” said Scott Marshall, store owner at Broadmoor FreshCo.

FreshCo knows Canadians like to get the best products at the lowest cost and offers three money-saving guarantees: In-stock (if you can’t find product that is advertised in flyer, you’ll receive a rain check, plus 10 per cent off), Double Fresh (if you’re not fully satisfied with the product quality, we’ll reimburse you and replace the product) and Lowest Price (we price match). Additionally, FreshCo also includes an in-store pharmacy where customers can fill their prescriptions while they shop. The store layout has been designed to help customers complete their grocery shop quickly and easily find deals and savings throughout the store.

“At FreshCo, we know our communities will be thrilled with the variety of offerings at lower prices,” said Anthony Vongsana, store owner of Blundell FreshCo. “We are committed to providing our customers the freshest foods at a price that can’t be beat.”
