Cameras are flashing for Kapuso actor and StarStruck’s “ultimate male survivor” Migo Adecer, but this time, it is not because he is promoting a television series, movie, or a new single.

On Tuesday night, March 26, Migo poses in front of a camera for his mugshot as he was arrested by Makati City police after his car reportedly hit two employees of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

Migo was driving a white Subaru BRZ when he hit the two MMDA workers — Rogelio Castillano and Michelle Gallova — who were riding a motorcycle.

But instead of stopping, Migo tried to escape, making authorities chase him along Barangay Poblacion, Makati City.

“Inipit namin ‘yung kanyang sasakyan doon sa harapan kaya hindi na siya maka-abante (We sandwiched his car in front that is why he cannot go forward),” Police Colonel Rogelio Simon, chief of police of Makati City told ABS-CBN.

“Inatras niya ngayon ‘yung kanyang sasakyan  at nabangga itong nakaharang din na mobile namin (He then moved his car backward and hit our other mobile),” he added.

Simon also said that the actor was drunk.

“Halatang lango siya sa alak. Kinakausap namin, wala sa sarili. Nagsisigaw-sigaw (It was obvious that he was under the influence of alcohol. We are talking to him, [but] he was not in his right mind. He was shouting),” he noted.

The victims were already brought to Ospital ng Makati for medical treatment, while the young actor is facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in physical injuries, damage to properties, and disobedience to a person in authority.

After winning in the sixth season of the reality talent competition in 2015, Migo continued his career in the Philippine entertainment industry as he starred in some Kapuso television series like Encantadia (2016), My Love From The Star (2017), and Ika-5 Utos, to name a few.

He released his first single, I Long To Ask You, in 2017 under GMA records. It was followed by 7 years, which was also dropped in the same year, Suntok Sa Buwan, and I Can Be AHA-mazing, both in 2018.
