JaDine welcomes new family member… with a paw!

Real life couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre, popularly known as JaDine, has welcomed a new member to their family.

It is not a newborn baby though, but the one who patiently waits for long hours for you to come home and burst with joy and excitement the moment you return.

Meet Cal, a two-month-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi that JaDine adopted from Rockaway Kennel —  a Quezon City-based “family ran kennel striving to produce and raise quality dogs with sound temperament.”

Rockaway Kennel posted a photo of the couple on its Instagram account on Thursday, March 7. Nadine can be seen holding their adorable furbaby in her arms, while James is standing beside her.

Cal, on the other hand, is showcasing his eye smile and tongue-out pose.

“Thank you for choosing our Kennel,” was written in the caption, along with the hashtags #corgi, #jadine, #rehomedpuppy.

To recall, James gave Nadine an overly cute teacup Maltese puppy named Clarky as a present on her 22nd birthday in 2015. The dog is named after James’s character in ABS-CBN’s romantic-comedy television series, On the Wings of Love, where the two starred.

Just like how any other hoomans react every time they encounter a dog whether in person or not, Nadine was not able to hide her excitement as she held Clarky for the first time, as seen on a video uploaded by Viva Entertainment. James, meanwhile, was all smiles seeing how thrilled Nadine was on his present.

The two dogs are not the only the additional members of their family, but they also have two purr-ty felines namely: Shere Khan and Susan.

Perhaps everyone right now, especially their fans, could not wait to see James and Nadine share photos, maybe a family photo, or of their cuddle time along with their fur-ever lovable furbabies on social media.
