P3-B Novotel Manila-Araneta Center to open in Cubao in 2015

MANILA – The Araneta Group, the outfit behind entertainment giant, Araneta Center, is in the process of building the Novotel Manila-Araneta Center; a P3-billion hotel development in Cubao, Quezon City.

The project, the structural work for which has already been finished and is set to start operations early 2015, will be the first businessman’s hotel in Quezon City

The hotel, which was topped off yesterday, will be run by management global hospitality mogul, Accor Group, which has nearly 400 hotels and resorts in 60 countries on its roster.

According to Araneta Group’s vice-president for operations Antonio T.

Mardo, Novotel Manila-Araneta Center “is poised to invigorate local tourism and bring in revenues to Quezon City.”

The four- to five-star hotel will start operations early next year following the completion go the fit-outs, Mardo said.

With an expected ranking of four to five stars, the Araneta Group says that Novotel will be “Well-positioned to cater to the needs of more than 56,000 registered businesses in Quezon City,” adding that it “also aims to take advantage of the increasing volume of domestic and international tourists.”

When operational, the hotel will offer 450 rooms, a ballroom with 1,396 person capacity, large function rooms, an opulent fine dining restaurant, garden terraces with stunning views of the city, and amenities such as the Olympic-sized pool, gym, spa and wellness center, and kid’s club.

The Araneta Group added that: “More developments are set to rise at the Araneta Center skyline, including additional residential condominium towers for Manhattan Garden City, mixed retail and office bolding Gateway Tower 2 and modern performing arts venue New Frontier.
