MANILA — Malacañang on Friday welcomed the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey which showed a “good” 2018 fourth-quarter satisfaction rating enjoyed by the Cabinet of President Rodrigo R. Duterte.

“The satisfactory rating given to the President’s Cabinet certainly is a source of inspiration for us to work harder to give full realization to the commitment of PRRD of providing comfortable life to the Filipinos,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a statement.

Panelo said the Duterte Administration will work harder in the remaining years in office of the President.

“As PRRD constantly reminds us, ‘We are here to serve.’ Complacency has no room in the remaining three-and-a-half years of the Administration as we marshal all our energies and talents in assisting the President give fruition to his single-minded goal of bringing about the desired changes in our society,” he said.

Panelo also urged Filipinos to set aside differences and rally behind the country’s development.

“Let us be each brother’s keeper and let love reign amongst us,” he said.

The Cabinet obtained a +35 satisfaction rating in December 2018, its highest for the year and up by three points from the +32 satisfaction rating it enjoyed in the September third-quarter survey.

The Cabinet’s net satisfaction rating significantly rose from “moderate” to “good” in Metro Manila, up by 12 points from +23 in September to +35 in December.

The survey was conducted from December 16 to 19 with 1,440 respondents and a margin of error of ±2.6 percent.
