MANILA – While other top officials have “marginal” improvements in their ratings, Vice President Jejomar Binay’s satisfaction ratings fell in the second quarter survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

Conducted last June, the poll showed that from “excellent” +73 (82 percent satisfied, nine percent dissatisfied) in March, the VP’s ratings dropped to “very good” +67 (78 percent satisfied, 11 percent dissatisfied) in June.

Results of the survey, which was conducted using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adult Filipinos nationwide, were printed in an issue of BusinessWorld yesterday.

Despite this drop, other high-ranking officials experienced moderate improvements in their ratings.

Senate President Franklin Drilon, Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr., and Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, had a satisfaction rate increase, based on the survey.

Remaining in “moderate” category, Drilon and Belmonte had a net score increased by three points, with Belmonte scoring +2 (34 percent satisfied, 32 percent dissatisfied).
