It’s been 11 months since actress Cristine Reyes asked her followers to “pray for [her] marriage” and she has not been seen with husband Ali Khatibi since then, but the two were finally spotted together last Tuesday, December 18 for the Christmas party of their daughter Amarah.

On an account under Amarah’s name, the trio is seen posing as a family with the photos captioned, “Thank you Mommy and Daddy for being with me today. Love you both.”

Cristine and Ali got married in a civil ceremony in January 2016 at Balesin Island Club in Polilio, Quezon and have one daughter together.

Since the rumors of Cristine and Ali separating, the two have evaded questions about their marriage in any public interview. When initially asked about her marriage by the media, Cristine simply stated, “We’re fine. We’re both working and taking care of our daughter.”

However, in October, Cristine changed her Instagram handle from ‘@mrscristinekhatibi’ to ‘@cristinereyes.’ She also guested on the show “Magandang Buhay” where she elaborated on the importance of being a mother to Amarah, but barely touched on the subject of Ali. During the press conference of her movie Abay Babes, Cristine responded in Filipino to questions asking how her life is, saying, “It’s quiet. Everything is okay.”

A few months ago, a conversation sparked further as Cristine posted a cryptic caption on one of her Instagram posts accompanied by a behind-the-scenes photo of her new teleserye Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit. The caption stated, “Don’t be afraid to start over.

It’s a brand new opportunity to rebuild what you truly want.” Despite netizens commenting on how that’s a reference to the ending of their marriage, both Cristine and Ali have yet to officially confirm their separation.
