Rhian Ramos not offended by rumors on her friendship with Bianca King

Actresses Rhian Ramos and Bianca King recently caught the attention of several netizens as they post their sweet photos together on their social media accounts.

In the photos of their girl-bonding moments where the two can be seen giving each other kisses and hugs and even going topless at a spa, among others, one cannot deny the closeness between the two, to the point that some people already speculate if they are actually a couple.

But with all these comments regarding their relationship, Rhian says she is not offended by what other people think of them.

“Okay lang naman (It is okay),” she tells the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep.ph).

“Kasi (Because), nowadays, if you have a really, really close friend or a girl crush, a lot of people ship… ‘I ship that, I ship that!’ parang (like) they want you to end up together. Eh, hindi naman ako stranger sa ganun (I’m no stranger to those kind of things), so I’m okay with it naman,” she continues.

The 28-year-old actress also clarifies that some may have misunderstood them because of the way she and Bianca communicate.

“Ang tawag ko rin sa kanya, ‘wifey’ or ‘wife.’ Parang tinawag ko siyang ‘wife’ online, kasi we both joked na, kasi parang wala talaga kami sa mental state na gusto naming magpakasal anytime soon (I call her ‘wifey’ or ‘wife.’ I call her ‘wife’ online because we utter jokes to each other that we are not in the mental state to get married anytime soon),” Rhian explains.

“That’s why when we joke with each other, I’m like, ‘Okay lang, hindi ako takot, tayo naman (It is okay, I’m not afraid since we are together)!’” she adds.

While stressing that she prefers “men” to be her love interest, Rhian also says she was never attracted to someone of the same sex and that she did not experience being courted by a woman.

Not bothered by the comments of netizens who have mistaken them to be in a romantic relationship, the actress says she really does love Bianca as her close friend.

“I love her with all my heart but in a different way, and siya rin naman (her too),” Rhian said.

“But I think, sometimes kasi friendship is a lot more intimate than relationship. Because the thing that happens in your relationship, sasabihin mo rin sa friend mo, eh (you will also tell your friend)!” she added.

In posting their adventures on Instagram, both Rhian and Bianca also include sweet captions, which probably further triggered some people to wonder whether they are really in a relationship.

Twitter user @fentypaulson said, “Omg shut up Rhian Ramos and Bianca King are dating???? my gay ass is shaking.”

Meanwhile, netizens @atonpalo and @yuriloona also ask if Rhian and Bianca are a couple because they really look good together.

Although many social media users still ponder about what is going on between Rhian and Bianca, it is very evident from their tweets that they are indeed happy for the two actresses.
