Kapuso stars Archie Alemania, Gee Canlas tie the knot

After two months of engagement, it was a garden-themed wedding for celebrities Archie Alemania and Gee Canlas as they exchanged their vows and said their I Do’s last Saturday, October 27 The Monochrome in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

The ceremony began in the afternoon, with Gee dressed in an embroidered short-sleeved gown with Swarovski crystals and glass beads by designer Haydee Garcia and Archie in a cream-colored suit.

Gee walked down to an acoustic version of “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” which can be seen in an Instagram story by fellow actress Ashley Rivera. Those also among the star-studded guest list included Michael V.

, Juancho Trivino, Mikoy Morales, and Chariz Solomon. The entire event used the hashtag #AGStories.

Nice Print Photography captured the ceremony, while wedding planner FJ Sionson styled the celebration. Numerous of the decorations consisted of pastel flowers, pink curtains, and golden chandeliers.

The couple has been together since 2011, broke up briefly in 2013 and got back together in 2017.

During an interview with Pep.ph, Archie shared about how the reunion happened during the wake of ex-Caloocan mayor Boy Asistio, saying in Filipino, “It just so happens that she didn’t have a boyfriend, I didn’t have a girlfriend. I was her last boyfriend. After five years, she didn’t have a boyfriend. We’re probably meant to be.”

Last August 28, Archie took advantage of Gee’s guest appearance on his show “Inday Will Always Love You” and proposed to her on set. Archie announced the news by posting a photo of Gee showing off the rock, captioned, “She said Yes!” Gee then replied with her own photo featuring the diamond ring with her fiancee in the background, saying, “Of course I said YES!! Can’t wait to share how he proposed but for now I go to bed knowing one thing… I get to keep my funny man forever.

I love you Archie Alemania.”
