Chie Filomeno said she will still hit the race track this coming weekend along with several celebrities and various racers on the fifth and final leg of this year’s Toyota’s Vios Cup.

This, despite being involved in a car accident while she was practicing at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga, where the event will be held.

In her Instagram stories which were shared to her 1.6 million followers, Chie posted some clips showing her damaged vehicle but assured her fans that she was able to escape unhurt from the accident.

Although she did not detail the whole story, the young star remembered that her car flipped “four times” and that she felt like she was in the air for “good 10 seconds.”

“All smiles even after my car accident on the race track,” she wrote in a caption along with a photo of herself smiling.

The Girl Trends member said nothing serious happened to her except a “pulled nerve.”

“I’m just really grateful for the people around me the moment that happened, thank you so much for being there for me and for letting me do a few laps to shake off what happened,” Chie said.

She added, “Came out stronger than ever because of you guys!”

The actress also said she was thankful that aside from her, nobody else was injured because of the accident.

Even after the incident, Chie gladly announced to the public, “I WILL STILL RACE!! YIPEE!!”

The Vios Cup Season 5 Race 3 will happen on Saturday, September 22. Aside from Chie, other showbiz personalities gearing up for the final race are actors Sam Milby, Diego Loyzaga, and actress Sofia Andres with returning celebrities from the last season’s race, Japanese-Brazilian model Fabio Ide, Sportscaster Gretchen Ho, and actor Troy Montero.

The event will be hosted by racers and motorsports enthusiasts James Deakin and Gaby Dela Merced.
