In a Facebook post, Clavite expressed his disappointment over Uson’s actions which he viewed as an “insult” to the communication and public information profession and “degradation” of the women and mothers.

The PIA chief said that he felt the need to speak out on the issue “to give value  to the massive man-hours the PIA had spent on providing capability and capacity building trainings, seminars, and workshops to all stakeholders in public information on the ground; to give value to the hard work of PCOO’s attached agencies.”

He stressed it is high time for Uson to rewire her actions and act in accordance to the code of conduct and ethical standards that all public officials should adhere to” because according to him “Ms. Uson’s actions since her appointment have time and again proven to be in poor taste—a display of an utter lack of judgment and have maligned the profession of government communicators.
