Amber Alert for nine month old Calgary boy cancelled; child safe
CALGARY—A nine-month-old Calgary boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert has been found safe and sound, and the alert has been cancelled.
Calgary police say the child was located early Saturday morning (4:30 local time) in Riverbend, a residential neighbourhood in southeast Calgary, after they received a tip.
Police say a man is in custody.
Police say the child was taken from a northeast Calgary parking lot around 8 p.
m. Friday after an altercation between a man and the boy’s mother.
Police say further details will be released as they become available.
