Phil Younghusband allegedly dating KC Concepcion; Angel surprised

Angel Locsin had already moved on from her recent breakup with Azkals star Phil Younghusband, but she was still surprised to hear that the latter is already dating Kapamilya actress KC Concepcion.

In an event organized by the local clothing brand Folded & Hung, she said she was surprised and hurt because “it happened too soon” after they parted ways.

But despite of her previous statement, she said that in the event that it is true, she would be happy for Phil. “While I still haven’t confirmed this, I just want to say that I will support whatever makes Phil happy. Come to think of it, it’s his life. I have nothing to do with [Phil] anymore,” said the actress.

It will be recalled that Angel made the confirmation of their breakup via her Twitter account in October.

Though she did not give specific details on the breakup, she said that they parted with no ill feelings for each other.  “Phil is a good person. We didn’t end our relationship as a result of a big fight. He will always be special to me.”

She added that she has learned a lot from her two-year relationship with Phil.

Just recently, Phil Younghusband denied the rumors linking him with KC Concepcion, while the latter is yet to comment on the issue.

Family and work

Angel will soon be playing “Darna” in the upcoming Star Cinema film. As she will be very busy with various showbiz commitments and her other advocacies, she said she would like to focus on her family and work first, saying, “I want to give my heart a rest.”
Despite her failed relationships in the past, she is still hopeful that she would meet the right guy at the right time. “I’m not looking for him, but I know he’s out there. I just hope that whoever I give my heart to next will be the one.”
