“Ang sakit ng tahi pero pipilitin ko kayanin. Sobrang worth it ang lahat ng sakit dahil sa nakita kong reaction ni Pele kay Vika (The stitch is painful but I will try my best to endure. All the pain is worth it after I saw Pele’s reaction to Vika),” Jolina further wrote referring to her three-year-old son with Mark Escueta. (Photo: Jolina Magdangal-Escueta/Instagram)

Jolina Magdangal was not kidding when she told “Magandang Buhay” that everyone will be with her in her second motherhood journey through pregnancy.

The 39-year-old actress shared with the world through the morning television show and her personal Instagram account the different milestones of her second pregnancy. And on May 28, Monday, her family just welcomed its newest member – Vika.

Andito na siya! Maraming salamat sa lahat ng dasal (She is here! A lot of thanks for all your prayers),” she captioned on a gram, attaching a teasingly cropped photo of her daughter.

Ang sakit ng tahi pero pipilitin ko kayanin.

She also compared her two babies’ appearances, saying that Vika had more hair than Pele when he was a newborn.

Expressing her excitement for her very first daughter, Jolina also described Vika’s skin as if she was wearing a film of “foundation” and a dab of “lipstick.”

“Excited ako ng ayusan siya (I am excited to tie her hair),” she added.

The “Magandang Buhay” host also made sure that though she gave birth to Vika, she will still try her best to be there for Pele.

Hours before her delivery, Jolina also had a message for her son, who is now a big brother, confessing that taking care of Vika in her growing years may cost some of her time with him.

“Thank you tinabihan mo pa rin akong matulog kagabi. Mas napanatag ang loob ko. Pangako ko sa’yo na hindi ito ang huling akap na tayong dalawa lang. Yayakapin kita habambuhay hangga’t gusto mo pa yakapin si Mama (Thank you for sleeping beside me last night. I felt more relieved. I promise you that this will not be the last time for us to hug with just the two of us. I will hug you forever as long as you want to hug Mama),” Jolina wrote.

Pagkatapos ko manganak, kakayanin ko maka-recover agad para matulungan pa rin kita maligo, makalaro ka, makakwentuhan ka, at maenjoy natin ang bago mong kalaro na si Vika (After my delivery, I will try my best to recover quickly so I can still help you bathe, play with you, exchange stories with you, and enjoy a time with your new playmate Vika),” she lovingly added.
