Impostora’s intense and explosive finale this Friday

GMA’s high-rating soap Impostora concludes its run this Friday, February 9.

This remake of the successful TV series has truly become a part of the Filipino viewers’ everyday lives as they got hooked on the characters of Nimfa, an ugly street vendor who willingly undergoes surgery and complete facial reconstruction to pretend to be Rosette, a wealthy and beautiful but unhappily married wife seeking to escape her husband.

Kapuso leading lady Kris Bernal expressed her gratitude to the Kapuso fans who tuned in and supported the series since day one.

“I’m really happy kasi hindi bumitaw ‘yung mga tao. Patuloy pa rin nilang tinututukan ‘yung Impostora. Kumbaga, ang tagal tagal na nung show namin at kahit may bagong katapat, nakatutok pa rin sila sa amin tuwing hapon kaya masaya talaga kaming lahat.

Kris is glad that people loved her portrayal of dual roles of Nimfa and Rosette and all her sacrifices paid off.

“Aside from Little Nanay, Impostora is one of my favourite shows because it made me realize that I can do kontrabida roles because I was stuck with being sweet, and parang laging inaapi, so kahit sa sarili ko nagulat ako na I can do more pa pala. And it’s very different from Little Nanay as well. So talagang na-challenge ako na switching from one character na may intellectual disability to talagang matapang na kontrabida. So ibang klase.”

Meanwhile, Rafael Rosell has nothing but praises for his leading lady. “Bilib na bilib ako sa husay niyang umarte at ang tibay ng katawan niya lalo na kapag tuluy-tuloy ang mga eksenang ginagawa niya bilang Nimfa at Rosette. Sana muli kaming magkasama sa isang project ni Kris.”

As the series comes to an end, will Rosette’s evil plans prevail? Is there a happy ending waiting for Nimfa and Homer?
