Canadian sues hospital for shortening penis, ‘ruining his sex life’
CANADA — A hospital in Montreal was sued by a Canadian man for a botched surgery leaving his penis one inch shorter.
The Canadian whose identity was not revealed in a report by Sun Media said that his sex life was ruined after the surgery.
In 2011, the Canadian was rushed to the hospital because of a fractured appendage he got while having sex with his wife.
The event was followed by a surgery to correct the injury.
However, the operation left a “permanent scar on his penis which reduced its length by about an inch.
The man, who claims that his wife walked out on him after they have not engaged to any sexual intercourse for two years, is now seeking Can$155,000 ($142,680) in damages for the hospital’s negligence.
Meanwhile, the case has yet to be decided by the court.
