LTO-7 to start printing of 5-year license cards

CEBU CITY— The Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO-7) will have a ceremonial printing of the roll-out license cards with five-year validity this Wednesday.

Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Michael Dino and Cebu Governor Hilario Davide III will be among the officials to witness the ceremonial printing at the LTO office along Natalio Bacalso Avenue.

LTO-7 Director Alita Pulga said earlier that 20 printing machines were allotted for Central Visayas which would be installed in all licensing centers and extension offices of LTO-7.

LTO-7 has more than 200,000 driver’s license cards in backlog.

The extension offices in the cities of Mandaue, Cebu, Talisay , Lapu-Lapu , Tagbilaran, Dumaguete , as well as at Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLRO) SM City and Robinson in Dumaguete City are set to address the backlogs.
