Seattle University shooting leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

SEATTLE — A 20-year-old  man died while two others were brought to the hospital, following a shooting at the Seattle Pacific University on Thursday afternoon.

According to a CNN report, the 26-year-old suspect, who is now in police custody, opened fire and shot two people.

Police report showed that after the gunshots, a  student security guard used a pepper spray to knock down the gunman, who was reloading the shotgun.

Authorities, who are withholding the name of the suspect, said that he was not a student of the school.

The 20-year-old-man who died from the incident was declared dead at Harborview Medical Center.

Meanwhile, two other wounded victims were also brought to the hospital including a woman, 20, who was in a critical condition and a man, 24 who is now in satisfactory condition.

Another victim who suffered from emotional trauma was also brought to the hospital.

The authorities are now investigating the incident.
