Corporations abuse H-1B visa system, US lawmakers say

US lawmakers claim that the H-1B visa is being abused by some companies as it appears to be making Americans the least preferred workers in their own country as companies go for foreign employees due to the fact that they are able to save and dole out lesser wages.

Displeased with the idea, the lawmakers wrote to President Donald Trump convincing him to use his power to its fullest as the head of the state to end alleged H-1B abuse.

The letter also said that they aim to bring back the original objective of H-1B which is to prioritize American workers and preserve the limited H-1B visas only to those high-skilled foreign workers.
