Jennylyn Mercado speaks about being single

Jennylyn Mercado prefers to be single all year round.

It will be recalled that Jennylyn Mercado and Luis Manzano called it quits late last year.

Despite being single, Jennylyn does not feel alone.

“I have my son Jazz and I have my family around.

I will never be alone,” she said in an interview with the Manila Bulletin.

“Para walang problema at wala kang iniisip. Kasi, ‘di ba, unang-una nag-tratrabaho ka.

Busy ka sa trabaho. Tapos papaano mo pagkakasyahin ang oras mo sa trabaho.

Ako halos isang araw sa isang linggo ang pahinga ko,” she added.

( So, you won’t have problems and you are not thinking of anything. Because, in the first place, you are working.

You are busy with work. Then, how you will divide your time with your work. I only have one day rest in a week .)

The 27-year-old Kapuso actress is currently busy with her primetime soap opera on GMA Network, “Rhodora X” where she plays multiple characters. She also has a new  single under GMA Records entitled “Basta’t Nandito Ka” from her upcoming “Never Alone” album.
