Julie Anne San Jose soars high

No doubt about it– actress-singer Julie Anne San Jose is one of the fast-rising Kapuso stars.

And her professionalism is key to her success.

In an interview with Manila Bulletin Entertainment, she said, “Siguro po ganun din ang nararamdaman ng ibang mga artista ‘di ba? Kami pong mga artista ginagawa lang po namin ang mga trabaho namin.”

( Maybe other artists feel the same, right? We, artists are just doing our jobs.)

She added, “When it comes to work I’m very professional and I’ll do my job well. Hindi po ako nagsasara ng pintuan pagdating sa trabaho.” ( I am not closing doors when it comes to work.)

Among her achievements include a 9x Platinum certification for her self-titled debut album from the Philippine Association of the Record Industry.

Though, there are critics who are questioning this achievement, she doesn’t mind at all.

“Hindi mo naman mapi-please lahat kasi eh,” she said.

( You can’t please everyone.)

“It is not about the artist, or how strong her following is. It’s about making music and it’s for OPM. For me I really love what I’m doing. I really love music, singing and writing songs. I love my craft. And I never anticipated or expected that I’d reached that status,” she added.
