Navy to acquire PHP36.3M worth of 5.56mm rounds

MANILA–The Philippine Navy (PN), through its Bids and Awards Committee, is looking for suppliers capable of supplying it with 1,574,700 rounds of 5.56mm SS109M855 ball ammunition.

These will be used to arm the Navy’s M-16 and M-4 rifles.

Budget for the project is placed at PHP 36,389,427.36 and winning bidders are required to deliver the items with 240 calendar days.

Pre-bid conference is scheduled for May 31, 10 a.m. at the Office of the PN Bids and Awards Committee, Naval Station Jose Francisco, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
