WASHINGTON – LeBron James scored 39 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Toronto Raptors 125-103 in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series on Wednesday.

James overtook the Hall of Fame center Abdul-Jabbar on the career playoff scoring list with a 3-pointer in the third quarter. The king, who now has 5,777 career playoff points, only trails Michael Jordan (5,987) in NBA history.

“I’m just playing in my zone. I know what they want to take away.
