My Life With the Walter Boys enthralled members worldwide, demonstrating Alberta’s global appeal. Within a month of its launch, it racked up over 254M viewing hours and more than 33M global views. It also spent eight weeks on the Global Top 10 TV list and reached the Top 10 in 88 countries. Since then, the show has been renewed for two additional seasons, with the second season now on Netflix and Season 3 currently in production!

For more than five years, we’ve sponsored the BANFF Diversity of Voices program, offering professional development and career acceleration for underrepresented creators and producers across Canada. For the last two years, Netflix has also participated in the iconic Calgary Stampede, hosting  receptions to connect with the local community and give fans unforgettable experiences, including an appearance with the stars of My Life With the Walter Boys at this year’s rodeo!
