Trump to Russia: Seal Ukraine deal in 10 days or face tariffs

WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump said his administration is seeking to reach an agreement with Russia to end the conflict in Ukraine within 10 days, otherwise it would impose import duties.

“Ten days from today,” Trump told reporters while flying from Aberdeen to Washington, when asked how he planned to shorten the previously mentioned 50-day deadline.

“And then we’re going to put on tariffs and stuff and I don’t know if it’s going to affect Russia, because it wants to, obviously, keep the war going, but we’re going to put on tariffs and the various things that you put on, it may or may not affect them, but it could,” the US leader said.
