Twitter logo removed from former headquarters sells for nearly $35,000

NEW YORK – The iconic blue bird logo removed from Twitter’s former headquarters in San Francisco after Elon Musk rebranded the platform as X has been sold at auction for nearly USD35,000, according to the Associated Press.
Auction house RR Auction, known for rare and collectible items, reported that the sign, weighing 254 kilograms and measuring 3.7 by 2.7 meters, fetched USD34,375.
The buyer’s identity was not disclosed.
Musk had previously auctioned off various items from Twitter’s former office, including signs, memorabilia, and furniture.
The auction also featured other tech-related artifacts. An Apple-1 computer with accessories sold for USD375,000, while a 1976 Apple Computer Co. check signed by Steve Jobs went for USD112,054.
Additionally, a first-generation iPhone with 4GB of memory in its original packaging was sold for USD87,514. (TASS)
