Pope Francis’ health slightly improving

ROME – Pope Francis’ condition continues to show slight improvement as he recovers from pneumonia in a Rome hospital, the Vatican announced Wednesday.

According to the latest medical bulletin, the Holy Father’s health has further improved over the past 24 hours.

The slight renal insufficiency detected in recent days has now subsided.

Also, a chest computed tomography (CT) scan conducted Tuesday evening indicated normal progress in the healing of his pulmonary inflammation. (ANSA)
