PBBM’s trust and satisfaction ratings continue to climb – survey

MANILA – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s satisfaction and trust ratings saw a modest increase in September, while Vice President Sara Z. Duterte suffered a slight decline, according to the results of data research firm Tangere’s recent survey.
The Tangere survey, conducted from Sept. 16 to 19, showed that Marcos’ performance rating inched up from 46 percent in August to 46.
4 percent this month.
The President’s trust rating also rose from 58.5 percent to 58.8 percent during the same period.
According to the survey, Northern and Central Luzon have the highest levels of satisfaction and trust for President Marcos, especially among respondents from 26 to 35 years old.
Meanwhile, the highest dissatisfaction and distrust ratings for the President were recorded from respondents in Mindanao and those aged 51 and older.
Vice President Duterte’s satisfaction rating, on the other hand, slightly dipped from 49 percent in August to 48.7 percent in September.
Similarly, Duterte’s trust rating dropped from 57 percent to 56.8 percent for the same period.
Duterte received the highest trust and satisfaction ratings from respondents in Mindanao while the dissatisfaction and distrust towards the Vice President were more evident in Central Luzon, Northern Luzon, and Southern Luzon.
The survey had 2,000 participants across the Philippines.
Tangere, owned by Acquisitions Apps, Inc. is a full-service market research firm that started as an opinion poll survey before the Covid-19 pandemic, according to its website.
