The True Power of Manifestation

Published

on

I truly believe in the power of our imagination and that what we believe in our lives is an actual preview of our lives’ coming attractions. When we manifest our goals and dreams, we are essentially turning our thoughts and desires into reality. We attract all the things that we deserve so we must learn to manifest wisely. To achieve our dreams and goals, we must actually dream it, believe in it, and achieve it with concrete steps and actions! There is true power in manifestations. I am a living proof of the true power of manifestation

Based on my own personal experiences, what I have manifested in the past has actually come into fruition. For instance, I’ve been a single working Mom for most of my life. In 2006, I manifested my goal and dream to uproot my son and myself and start our new lives in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I started with visualising our new life in Vancouver. I wrote down my plans and my goals in order to achieve my dream on a daily basis. I wrote these exact words on a daily basis in my diary: “My son and I will live fulfilling lives in Vancouver; we will both thrive and be happy and safe in Vancouver and I will be able to provide a better quality of life for my son in Vancouver.”

While manifesting this particular dream, I also visualise daily about having a contented life for me and my son in Vancouver. I totally believed in having a better quality of life for my son and myself in Vancouver. Because of my strong desire to make it happen, I took specific actions to make my dream a reality. Fortunately, I was already a Canadian citizen because my mom is a Canadian citizen having immigrated herself to Vancouver in the early 70’s. All I needed to do was to arrange for my son’s papers and documents to get him a Canadian passport. As early as 2006, I saved money and made concrete plans for our relocation to Vancouver. By July 22, 2007, my son and I arrived in Vancouver. I didn’t waste any time, as soon as I arrived in Vancouver, I went job hunting. I chose the best job that will provide well for my son and myself. Fast forward to 2024, my son is a university graduate With Distinction (Cum Laude) and is thriving in his field as a Software Engineer. As for myself, I’ve had varied and enriching experiences with my own career and personal life. I manifested a better quality of life for my son and myself in Vancouver way back in 2006, and our dreams have finally turned into a reality since then!

In 2017, my then 19 years old son encouraged me to go out on dates and he wanted me to focus more on having a life aside from being his Mom. And I did follow his advice and went out on dates but to be honest, it wasn’t a rewarding experience at first. I ended up dating a few frogs! One day, I wrote in my diary that I will only date a man who can enrich my life with positivity, kindness and happiness. I also wrote down the specific qualities I’m looking for in a lifetime partner. By doing these, I was manifesting my future life with a partner who can add true value to my life. And because I visualise and manifest my ideal partner, I avoided dating the wrong people.

By September 2018, my future husband came into my life! We were introduced to each other by a mutual close friend who set us up on a blind date. My future husband turned out to have all the specific qualities I was looking for in my ideal partner: someone who is kind, honest, generous and understanding; someone who is successful in his own life; someone who is not afraid to commit to a life with me; and someone who will fit in perfectly with my son and my family dynamics. During the early stages of our relationship, I visualised and manifested a long term relationship with my beau. I manifested and visualised that we will get engaged and make it legal and official through marriage. I visualised and manifested a romantic proposal and a mountaintop wedding. By May 2022, my significant other proposed to me by inviting me for a romantic breakfast at Tiffany’s! By July 2022, we had our mountaintop fairytale like wedding at Sea to Sky Gondola. Just by writing these now, I’m getting goosebumps with the realisation of how truly powerful it is to manifest your dreams and goals in life!

Because it worked for me, I’d love to share the following steps I took to manifesting my dreams and goals effectively:

BE SPECIFIC WITH YOUR DREAMS, GOALS, AND DESIRES. Be totally unapologetic when you’re asking for your dreams, goals and desires from the universe. Own your dreams. Believe in your dreams, and lastly, trust in the process of turning your dreams, goals and desires into your own reality! Believe that all these will come into your life — and they truly will at a right time in your life!

WRITE DOWN YOUR DREAMS, GOALS, AND DESIRES BY DOING THE 3-6-9 METHOD. Again, for me, the key to my manifestation was to write down everyday in my diary my specific dreams, goals and desires. I use the 3-6-9 method which is: writing down your manifestations three times in the morning, six times in the afternoon, and nine times in the evening. Why do we choose the numbers 3-6-9? Because these numbers determine our fates with the Divine. These numbers stand for frequency, energy, and positive vibrations.

VISUALISE YOUR DREAMS, GOALS, AND DESIRES. By having vision boards and affirmations, we create total clarity on what we truly want to achieve in our lives. I always make it a point to create a file or an album dedicated to my next goal or project in my life. For instance, right now, I have an album of my ideal new home with my husband. In this album, I have photos of the exact home that my husband and I would like to purchase. In this album, I also put photos of the furniture I’d like to have in our future home and I also put a screenshot of the finances/budget that my husband and I made so we can turn this dream into a reality in the near future.

TURN YOUR DREAMS, GOALS, AND DESIRES INTO REALITY BY HAVING CONCRETE PLANS AND ACTIONS. Based on my own personal experiences, I didn’t just dream or had desires — I achieved my dreams and goals! For starters, I developed this attitude of not comparing myself and my life to others. We are all different and therefore we have different lifestyles. I stick to my own lane and by doing so, I am focusing on the things that I am capable of achieving to make my dreams come true. I stay organised and determined by creating my own 1-3-5 lists which are a combination of: 1 big thing, 3 medium things, and 5 small things that we can accomplish in our lives. The 1-3-5 rule forces you to get real about the amount of time you have and get intentional with your focus. I also make sure that all my dreams and goals are specific, attainable, and measured. I also create a specific timeline to achieve my dreams and aspirations. This is how you create concrete plans and actions.

DON’T GET DISSUADED BY SETBACKS. In life, there are always setbacks. Nothing comes easy in life. You have to be prepared to be disappointed when your dreams and goals don’t come into fruition. I’ve lost dream jobs, dream goals and dream homes along the way. We don’t always get what we want or ask for from the Universe. In reality, it is always easy to get attached to a certain dream or goal that we want. It is human nature to get attached to a specific outcome or we may be so set in wanting for certain things to happen in our lives on a particular timeline. And if these things don’t materialise, we naturally become disappointed. I’ll share the important lesson I learned about the art of manifestations: true manifestations aren’t about getting what we think we want in our lives. True manifestations are all about receiving what is the highest good for us in our lives.

For example, there is a good reason why my husband and I didn’t get the first home we loved and wished for. It turned out, the Universe is sparing my husband and I from eventually paying a lot for an upcoming levy or building renovation. It turned out that by not getting this particular dream home that we wanted, we were spared from what could be a huge financial  burden. Instead, my husband and I decided to shift our focus and attention to finding the right home for us. What I’m trying to point out is this: if your particular dream and goal does not manifest, don’t be discouraged and dissuaded. Instead, change your focus, revise your dream and goal instead. Never lose hope. Trust in the process that the Universe has better plans for you. Remember this: our plans aren’t always necessarily the best plans. It means something better is yet to come into our lives!

ACCEPT AND EMBRACE THE TRUE MEANING OF MANIFESTING. The true meaning of manifestation is not about getting what you want in life, rather, it is all about becoming what you truly want in life. Manifesting is the creative process of aligning with the energy of the Universe to create an experience that will elevate you and your life. Again, it means knowing, accepting and embracing the fact that our plans, dreams and desires aren’t always necessarily the right ones for us. It is about embracing and accepting the dreams, goals and plans that are truly meant for us because they are the best plans for us!

INCORPORATE MANIFESTING A PART OF  YOUR DAILY LIVES. When we manifest our dreams, goals and desires into our daily lives, we are encouraging a more positive and productive life. We are embracing hope, determination, and perseverance in our lives. We live a more fulfilling and productive lifestyle.

Above all, I highly advise to keep your manifestations to yourself only. Do not broadcast or post your manifestations to others in your social media. Let others only see your reality — never your vision, hopes or dreams.

In a game of chess, you don’t speak. You just act. The only time that you ever speak when playing chess is to say checkmate. Life is like chess. Don’t broadcast your intentions. Act quietly. Keep achieving. Your achievements are your checkmate.
