Sneak Peak of Pinoy Festival: the Largest Filipino Festival in British Columbia in Celebration of June Filipino Heritage Month
Burnaby, B.C.- In celebration of June Filipino Heritage Month, the vibrant and dynamic Filipino community of British Columbia proudly invites everyone to a sneak peek of the highly anticipated Pinoy Festival, the largest Filipino festival in the region. This preview event will showcase the essence of Filipino culture through a variety of activities, including the Grand Santacruzan, Hataw Zumbayanan teaser, and mini-cultural performances.

Grand Santacruzan: Witness a traditional Filipino procession featuring beautifully adorned sagalas (muses) and consorts. This colorful parade is a highlight of Filipino heritage and faith.

Zumbayanan Teaser: Get a taste of the energetic and fun-filled Hataw Zumbayanan, a unique fusion of Zumba and Filipino folk dance. This teaser will give attendees a chance to experience the excitement and community spirit that this activity brings.

Mini Cultural Performance: Observe live performance sessions of traditional Filipino cultural performances. From folk dances to musical renditions, these mini-performances will provide an intimate look at the dedication and talent of the performers preparing for the main festival.
The Pinoy Festival is more than just a celebration; it’s a showcase of the rich Filipino heritage, fostering unity and pride among the Filipino-Canadian community and beyond. It provides an opportunity for everyone to experience the warmth, hospitality, and vibrancy of Filipino culture.
