Burnaby, BC – All roads will lead to the Pinoy Festival in Burnaby this June 22nd declared Filipino leaders from more than 60 community organizations today.
“We’re confident we’ll have an even greater turnout and a more unforgettable celebration than last year. The Pinoy Festival is part of Filipino Heritage Month and it’s where we’ll showcase an array of exciting presentations highlighting Filipino culture and traditions. Along with a Community Parade, Cultural Performances, a Filipino Marketplace (Tiangge), a Grand Santacruzan and a Filipino Rock Concert – new features this year are a Filipino Zumba Session, a Beer + BBQ + Music Garden and a Family Fun Park with Bouncy Castles and traditional Filipino games. The Pinoy Festival is an annual event and last year’s festival drew more than 10,000 attendees from across the Lower Mainland.
